ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time role for a Cost Controller / FP&A Controller at Sequans Communications. As a Cost Controller / FP&A Controller, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting & controlling the company activity : OPEX, CAPEX and R&D project (timesheet). This position is at the crossroad of controlling & accounting . You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive the implementation of solutions. This role is located in Paris and requires on-site presence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis. Strong Business partner spirit
• Strong MS Excel and good MS office skills. Experience in using ERP (SAP preferred)
• Good knowledge of accounting & working under hard real-time constraints
• P2P and cash management knowledge
• Experience in providing analysis of gaps vs Budget, previous Forecast & LY, in promoting good practices to non financial stakeholders. Ability to think out of the box to automatize & challenge practices
• Fast learning capabilities, ability to work in a team, very good communications skills. Used to work in fast moving and multicultural environment. Ability to summarize key facts behind figures
• Fluent English is mandatory, fluent French will be a plus
• Experience in engineering environment / Tech start-up or Industrial costing will be a plus (timesheet control)
