Broadband Software Integration (BB-SWI) team is in charge of integrating modem, drivers and application features in order to build Sequans final 4G and 5G products.
The team is also responsible for deploying integration test platform in order to track and debug issues seen on the product, during lab and field testing.
Sequans SI-BB team is developping its own Modem test platform for 4G and 5G technologies for simuation and hardware, and in such context is offering 6-month internship position within the BB-SI team for final-year student.
Activity will consist on automating test cases over 5G physical layer from Sequans device
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Taking basic knowledge of 5G features on physical interface
- Taking knowledge of SI test framework (TTCN/Sequans and Rohde & Schwartz CMX500 testers)
- Taking knowledge of language used by SI for automation: TTCN for Sequans test framework & python for CMX500
- Writing L1/L2 test cases for testing Sequans 5G chipset in order to improve our test coverage
- Capability to automate test cases
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Final-year student
- Ability to understand and investigate Software issues. Ability of reading and understanding standards from 4G and 5G. (3GPP/ETSI documentations)
- Knowledge in C and C++, Python
- Very good level in English
