The Global Certification Forum (GCF) is a non-profit, global membership driven organisation offering mobile and IoT certification programmes based on conformity to agreed standards. It provides assurance of device-network interoperability, reduction in testing costs and accelerated time-to-market. Shaping the industry since 1999 with mobile technology at its core, GCF today has over 300 members from the major mobile network operators, device manufacturers, and the test industry. Working collaboratively with key industry partners, GCF offers industry-relevant certification programmes which benefit billions of users worldwide. GCF provides certification solutions for devices based on 3GPP and other relevant industry standards including, but not limited to, smart and feature phones, modules and chipsets, hot spots/routers, tablets and notebooks, IoT devices and wearables. With industry and technology constantly evolving, GCF today covers 5G and previous generations and also offers additional solutions to meet the requirements of vertical segments, which are developed in cooperation with the specific industries.
